Chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of health care available. In fact you have a greater risk of injury/complication by taking one Tylenol than you do from receiving a Chiropractic adjustment.
All clients receive a comprehensive exam including a full neurological, muscular, skeletal and functional assessment. If Chiropractic care is not appropriate for your condition, proper referral will be recommended.
Chiropractic care is covered by your health insurance plan if it is for acute (short-term) care, such as for a recent injury, or for a condition where treatment offers lasting benefit or curative value.
We are happy to look into your individual plan for you and help you determine what your plan will help with.
Many employers now offer "flex" plans or accounts as well to help with medical expenses. These can also be used for chiropractic care.
If you are a Chiropractic candidate, we work with you to develop an individualized care plan to resolve your condition and guide you to optimum health. We take time to educate you on your condition during the initial visits to support you in being proactive in your health, and help you to make the choice between relief care and corrective/wellness care.
We believe everyone should be seeing a chiropractor. Starting immediately after birth, we all can enjoy improved overall health with regular chiropractic care. Similar to going to your dentist or changing the oil in your car, wellness check-ups are beneficial. We demand a lot from our bodies on a daily basis. It is important that they are working properly and our nervous system is free from irritation.
Chiropractors treat much more than just backs! Don't forget that your body is made up of many additional joints (ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, etc.) which we can adjust as well.
The philosophy and science of chiropractic revolves around the nervous system. Your nervous system controls and coordinates every single function in your body, organ function and muscle contractions. Any aspect of health can be diminished by nerve interference.
Chiropractors are experts in detecting areas of nerve irritation throughout your body. Through chiropractic adjustments patients see improvement in many common ailments.
Adjustments are NOT supposed to hurt. Our doctors utilize many different techniques to make the adjustment as comfortable as possible for you. Through our experience and knowledge, we can use the best technique for your situation.
The sound you typically hear when you get adjusted is actually gas/pressure being released from the joints. It is NOT your bones cracking!
